Hotel la Rosière is situated very close to "Gold Beach" the central Normandy Landing Beach with "Omaha" and "Utah" to the west and "Juno" and "Sword" beaches to the east.
Within an hours drive are Sainte-Mère-Eglise (1st town liberated by American Forces on 6th June 1944) and Pegasus Bridge at Bénouville (1st house liberated by British Forces on 6th June 1944).
Many of our guests have told us that they have visited Le Mont St. Michel, Deauville, Honfleur, Trouville and Etretat whilst staying with us, some have even made a day trip to Paris by train from Bayeux.
